As a CNO Engineer on the SAS Mobile team, you’ll play a critical role designing, developing, and deploying tools that enhance mission’s ability to operate and defend across cyber and communications domains.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, and optimize complex software systems using C and related technologies.

·         Engineer and integrate advanced features focused on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication protocols.

·         Conduct reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis to enhance system resilience and mission effectiveness.

·         Collaborate with cybersecurity and CNO specialists to design secure, mission-ready software solutions.

·         Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous integration activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.

·         Contribute to research and prototyping efforts for next-generation mobile and embedded systems.

Required Qualifications

1.      5+ years of relevant software development experience in C or comparable low-level languages (degree can substitute for years of experience)

2.      3+ years developing cybersecurity or CNO-specific software solutions.

3.      Demonstrated experience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies.

4.      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

5.      Strong understanding of secure software development principles and system-level programming.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with mobile or embedded development environments.

Experience with network protocol analysis and reverse engineering tools.

Knowledge of RF technologies, signal analysis, or low-level communication stacks.

Ability to work effectively in a classified, mission-focused environment.
