Commercial Support Manager

Job Purpose 

As a Commercial Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing sales data, analyzing performance metrics, streamlining sales processes, and providing insights to improve overall sales productivity. The Commercial Support Senior Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Marketing & Finance, to ensure alignment and support the achievement of sales goals. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

Commercial Support 

• Manage the process of supporting the commercial team in preparing proposals and presentations to ensure accuracy and consistency of information. 

• Supervise the response process for new client inquiries, particularly when the commercial  team is unavailable due to meetings or conferences. 

• Ensure the client onboarding process on T-portal runs smoothly, with accurate and verified details. 

• Oversee the contract management process, ensuring effective coordination between legal, clients, and the commercial team. 

• Provide general administrative support to the commercial team as needed. 

CRM & Data Management 

• Oversee the Commercial Team's collateral on OneDrive, including proposals and presentation templates, and sales enablement materials. 

• Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of Salesforce data to provide actionable insights for decision-making. 

• Maintain and improve CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. 

• Generate and distribute regular sales performance reports and dashboards. 

Performance Analysis and Reporting 

• Report on sales metrics, KPIs, and trends to provide insights and recommendations to sales leadership. 

• Support the development of sales forecasts and assist in setting sales targets. 

Sales Enablement 

• Collaborate with the commercial team to identify training needs and coordinate the development of training materials and programs. 

• Provide tools and support to the commercial team to enhance productivity and success. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Assist the CRO and VP of Growth in partnering with finance to ensure accurate sales forecasting and budgeting. 

• Collaborate with the commercial team to improve customer retention and satisfaction. 

Technology and Tools Management 

• Evaluate, implement, and manage sales tools and technologies to streamline sales processes such as CRM. 

• Provide training and support for sales tools to ensure effective utilization by the sales team. 

Process Documentation and Compliance 

• Document and maintain sales processes, policies, and procedures. 

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to sales operations. 
  
  Education, Experience & Qualifications 
• A bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or any related field is preferable. 
• 8-10 years of proven experience in sales support or administrative roles. 
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of business intelligence tools. 
• Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales enablement tools. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools. 
• Excellent level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
