Comms and Marketing Strategist
About this role
Plan, write, and manage product communications across all programme channels.
Develop communication plans, key messaging, and product value propositions for the Resiliency Programme.
Draft and publish monthly product updates, release announcements, newsletters, and FAQs, translating technical platform updates into clear, user-friendly language.
Manage portal content, non-technical copy, and value statements on the Developer and Products portals.
Maintain communication calendars, templates, content repositories, and stakeholder distribution lists.
Ensure all communications comply with organization branding, accessibility, governance, and security guidelines.
Track engagement metrics across channels to review message reach and refine future communications.
Provide editorial guidance and maintain standard communication templates for incident and operational notices.
Review incident advisories and operational announcements written by incident & ops teams to ensure clarity, professional tone, and alignment with organization standards.
Create and maintain standardized incident and maintenance communication templates for incident & ops teams to use for drafting during service events.
Maintain standardized templates aligned with organization brand and visual identity standards for operational teams to execute during service events.
Support agency enablement, community participation, and product adoption through structured communications and event content.
Provide enablement support by producing presentation decks, session materials, and promotional copy for enablement sessions, webinars, workshops, and office hours.
Create event content, such as draft presentation decks and written materials for organization conferences, showcases, roadshows, and external engagement forums.
Draft follow-up communications, written announcements, and messaging materials to support engagement teams working with agencies.
Identify and write agency case studies and success stories to demonstrate product value and encourage whole-of-organization adoption.
Technical Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in UK English, with the ability to explain technical concepts simply without using heavy marketing jargon.
Experience in planning and writing multi-channel communications (e.g. EDMs, Telegram, Slack).
Experience in planning and facilitating virtual enablement events, webinars, or workshops.
Strong organizational skills and stakeholder management abilities to work effectively alongside Product Managers and Engineering leads.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Mass Communication, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in product marketing, developer comms, or tech communications, preferably within a government or technology environment.ย
