Your Responsibilities as a Construction Inspector:
- Inspect, observe, and ensure construction projects—including road construction, treatment plants, utilities, mass grading and excavation are completed in accordance with contract plans and specifications.
- Interpret plans and specifications to contractors and clients.
- Prepare and maintain records of plans, inspections, letters, and reports used in connection with construction observation and inspection.
- Identify contract changes and assist in preparation of change orders.
- Travel to project sites as required.
What we're looking for:
- Knowledge of the practices used, and the equipment required on construction projects, particularly in the areas of treatment plants, earthwork, utilities, and roadway construction.
- 1+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A clean driving record.
