About this role

The Consultant will contribute to the delivery of investigations and other forensic and compliance engagements across Spain, Europe and overseas, while building technical expertise in fraud, bribery, corruption and other white collar crime matters. Working alongside senior colleagues, you will support investigations and compliance advisory engagements by reviewing and analysing financial data and documentation, conducting eDiscovery reviews interviews and other investigative procedures, and helping to summarise complex issues in clear, concise reports. Delivery accounts for the majority of the role, complemented by support on project management and risk, contributions to business development, and a commitment to personal and team development. The successful candidate will bring a good level of relevant experience, a sound awareness of relevant rules and regulations, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Fluency in Spanish and English, a university degree and a willingness to travel at short notice are essential.

  • Motivate and mentor junior members to achieve their full individual and team potential.

Knowledge and experience

  • Three to four years of relevant work experience, ideally in investigations, with familiarity in analysing financial evidence and data, transaction testing, and summarising complex financial and business issues in succinct reports.
  • Awareness of relevant rules and regulations, such as Sapin II, the FCPA and UK Bribery Act.
  • Experience with working effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to track projects consistently to ensure client deadlines are met.
