About this role

Position: Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant
Key Responsibilities
    • Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance users.
    • Configure and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance modules.
    • Work on Finance modules such as:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Fixed Assets (FA)
    • Cash Management (CM)
    • iExpense
    • Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Solution Design Documents, and Test Scripts.
    • Conduct CRP, UAT, and user training sessions.
    • Coordinate with technical teams for reports, interfaces, conversions, and customizations.
    • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
    • Troubleshoot production issues and provide functional support.
    • Work with business users to improve finance processes and system efficiency.

Required Skills
    • Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
    • Understanding of accounting concepts and financial processes.
    • Experience in implementations, upgrades, rollouts, or support projects.
    • Ability to create functional specifications and perform testing.
    • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, MBA Finance, CA, ICWA, or related field.
    • Oracle EBS Finance certification is an added advantage.

Key Requirements
    • 3+ years of Oracle EBS Finance Functional experience.
    • Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation project.
Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash
