About this role
Description
The Content Management Team Lead is responsible for leading and developing Digitain’s product knowledge ecosystem, with a primary focus on technical product documentation, user manuals, and operational guides rather than marketing content.
The role ensures that all product-related manuals, usage instructions, release notes, and operational documentation are accurate, structured, up-to-date, and easily accessible through a centralized knowledgebase system.
This position is focused on building a scalable documentation framework that supports product usability, operational clarity, and internal/external stakeholder understanding of how products function and are used.
Working closely with Product Development, IT, and other cross-functional teams, the role ensures that all product documentation reflects actual system behavior and changes, especially during releases and hot-fixes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a structured, AI-enabled strategy for product documentation and knowledgebase management
- Own and standardize product manuals, user guides, and operational documentation
- Ensure all documentation reflects real product functionality
- Design and improve documentation workflows, version control, and update processes
- Automate documentation and release note generation with IT and Product teams
- Manage Release and Hot-Fix technical documentation processes
- Maintain and improve a centralized, structured, and searchable knowledgebase
- Coordinate timely updates of manuals with Product Development teams
- Oversee translation and localization of technical documentation
- Analyze usage data and improve documentation accessibility and quality
- Define and enforce documentation standards, templates, and governance rules
- Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports on documentation performance
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for knowledge management processes
- Plan tasks, prioritize workload, and ensure quality and deadlines are met
- Conduct team alignment meetings and support cross-functional coordination
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Philology, Linguistics, Journalism, International Relations, Marketing, Management, or related fields
- 4+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of technical documentation, product manuals, or knowledgebase systems
- Experience working with structured documentation and cross-functional product teams
- Languages: Armenian, English, Russian (mandatory)
- Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, and WordPress
- Experience with documentation systems, knowledge management tools, or CMS platforms is an advantage
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure accuracy under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- High adaptability to evolving product and technical environments
- Initiative-driven mindset with problem-solving and continuous improvement focus
