SYSTRA is GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR Visakhapatnam Metro Rail Project Phase-01:

We are seeking applications for the role Contract Expert-Civil in Visakhapatnam Metro Rail Project.

Missions/Main Duties

• Contract Expert (Civil) assists Chief Contract Manager in management and interpretation of all contracts signed between the APMRCL and Detailed Design consultant/Construction Contractor /Design Build Contractor/Suppliers etc.
• To monitor, review & interpret all correspondence from contractors on contractual matters and advise Chief Contract Experts on the line of response.
• To review & analyze requests from Contractor and/or Consultants for variations, check stage payments and statutory & contractual recoveries thereof.
• To advise chief contract Managers on matters that must be referred to the employer as per contract for acceptance final decision. 
• To assist the Chief Contract Manager in all contract closure at the end of the project.
• Maintain documentation for all contractual communications and approval.
• Support Tendering process and Bid evaluation for Civil Packages
• Assist in handling contractual claims and dispute resolution

Profile/Skills

• Graduate Engineer with Civil Engineering.
• 10 years and specific 4 years in Metro/Railways.
• Work experience in both an independent and team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Strong team player and effective team leader.
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through patience, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to read communication styles of team members and clients who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills.
• Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO 9001 and 14001 Standards.
