Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist - New Graduates are Encouraged to Apply!Β Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift
The Certified CT Technologist performs Computed Tomography (CT) and other diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols. Functions as the primary interface with patients, providing exceptional customer service while producing high-quality diagnostic images. Supports departmental operations through quality improvement initiatives, workflow coordination, equipment and supply management, and image processing.
Responsibilities
- Performs CT and other diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols.
- Serves as the primary interface with patients to ensure quality care and customer service.
- Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.
- Assists in maintaining the department's Performance Improvement Program.
- Provides operational support and assists with departmental oversight in the absence of the Manager or Director.
- Maintains departmental supplies and assigned equipment.
- Assists with scheduling for assigned imaging areas.
- Promotes teamwork and effective communication across the department.
- Processes and transmits images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.2. Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required3. Current BCLS (AHA).Β 4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.5. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred6. Proficient computer skills.#LI-TA1
