Awesome opportunity to join our expanding practice!  University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Responsibilities

University Radiology is looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Full Time FLOAT CT Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team.  In this position, you will play a critical role in patient care and will float to our Central, NJ Imaging Offices, located in Warren, Bridgewater, &  Edison.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Safety:  Position patients, explain procedures, and shield them from unnecessary radiation.
• Imaging Operations:  Operate CT scanners, adjust equipment, and produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Contrast Administration:  Prepare and inject contrast dye, often intravenously, to enhance image visibility, and monitor for reactions.
• Technical Setup:  Perform scanner calibration and daily quality checks.
• Documentation:  Maintain patient records and review images with physicians for accuracy.

Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm w/rotating Saturdays 7:45 am - 1:00 pm in Bridgewater

*this position qualifies for float differential pay 

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT(CT) certification required
• Must have 2+ years of CT experience
• Excellent communication skills

Pay Range:

$44/hr

The rate provided is based on industry standards for candidates with 0 – 5 years of experience. Salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, education and operational needs.
