About this role
Overview
We are seeking a proactive Data Quality Consultant with hands-on experience in Ataccama ONE to support enterprise Data Quality and Governance initiatives within a pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will drive the adoption of data quality practices, collaborate with business stakeholders, and implement scalable data quality monitoring frameworks. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and data governance knowledge to help business teams understand, define, and operationalize data quality standards and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and implement data quality rules, scorecards, and monitoring frameworks in Ataccama ONE.
- Conduct data profiling and identify data quality issues, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with business stakeholders, data stewards, and governance teams to define data quality KPIs and business rules.
- Facilitate workshops and onboarding sessions to promote data quality awareness and adoption.
- Translate business requirements into technical data quality validations and monitoring logic.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track data quality performance and compliance metrics.
- Support root cause analysis and remediation of data quality issues.
- Document data quality processes, rules, and implementation approaches.
- Collaborate with Data Governance and Data Catalog teams to align quality standards, stewardship, and metadata initiatives.
- Provide knowledge transfer and support to operational and stewardship teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Management.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ataccama ONE.
- Strong experience in Data Profiling, Data Quality Rules, Monitoring, and Scorecards.
- Solid SQL skills and data analysis capabilities.
- Understanding of Data Governance, Data Stewardship, and Metadata Management concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience conducting workshops and gathering business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Data Catalog platforms such as Alation.
- Knowledge of data lineage and metadata management concepts.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or GxP-regulated environments.
- Python or scripting experience is a plus.
