Position Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Database Developer.
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Extensive experience with optimizing and troubleshooting SQL queries, indexes, execution plans, joins, and overall database performance
- Ability to participate in and contribute to code management in GitHub including
- Actively collaborating in peer-reviews, feature branches, and resolving conflicts and commits
- Ability to train and mentor application developers on best database practices
- Experience with GitHub CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with microservices, Kafka and NoSQL databases would be nice to have
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Factory (ADF), is preferred
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform is a plus

- Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature
- High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality results
- Self-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention
