Join Qantas in our brand-new Product and Innovation Centre located in Adelaide to help meet evolving consumer needs by enabling agile teams to deliver faster, more adaptive solutions that prioritise customer value, continuous feedback, and innovation at every stage of the product lifecycle.

As the Delivery Lead, you will sit across digital product streams including mobile applications, conversational AI and customer servicing. You will lead agile squads to deliver features aligned with strategic goals, while mentoring teams to improve delivery practices and agile maturity. You’ll foster a culture of autonomy, collaboration, and transparency.

Your primary responsibility is to plan and coordinate product delivery, ensuring alignment to agreed agile practices and frameworks. You’ll coach teams to improve agile maturity, foster collaboration, and remove impediments to maintain delivery flow. By driving continuous improvement, reducing waste, and optimising resource utilisation, you’ll help teams deliver value early and consistently. 

This is a unique opportunity to play an instrumental role in shaping culture, ways of working and support squad ramp-up at the new Qantas Product Innovation Centre based in Adelaide. 

You’ll have:

  • 3+ years as an Agile Delivery Lead or Agile Iteration Manager in a digital environment 
  • Proven ability to plan and coordinate delivery from discovery through to release, optimising time to value 
  • Demonstrated ability to coach individuals and squads in adopting Agile mindsets and practices, enabling high-performing teams 
  • Proficient in multiple agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, and other frameworks  
  • Strong capability in risk and issue identification and management 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence and Miro
