from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Essential Criteria

Candidates must have at the latest date of application:

• Hold a Degree, Licence or Diploma in Dental Surgery / Dental Science;

                                                and

• Be registered in the Register of Dentists for Ireland or be entitled to be registered;

                                                and

• Have had, since becoming eligible under paragraph (a) above, at least one years’ satisfactory experience in the practice of dentistry;

                                                and

• Possess a high standard of professional knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office

Post Specific Requirements:

Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience of public dental services or  hospital dental services

Other requirements specific to the post:

Have access to own transport to fulfil the requirements of the role, Delivery of out of hours care if required.
