Many of our interns enjoy their time at Lamp Rynearson so much they become full-time employees.
What you need:• Current student at an accredited college or university in a civil, environmental, or construction engineering program.• Ability to work with a team of unique personalities and professional styles.• Ability to perform self-motivated work, as well as collaborate and contribute to a team.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
You bring to the team:• Pursuing a degree in civil engineering or related field.• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.• Strong attention to detail.• Passion for public works projects.• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.• Strong communication skills.• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
