About this role

At Frankly Wearing, we’re building something different from a traditional merch platform.

We are a leading Indian merchandise marketplace that allows independent artists, creators, and NGOs to sell custom-designed apparel and accessories in an automated manner.

We’re looking for a Design Specialist to help create the visual experiences that customers and creators interact with every day - across our website, social channels, marketing campaigns, and promotional campaigns.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on design role for someone who enjoys digital design, visual storytelling, and creating polished marketing experiences.

You’ll work across website UI, landing pages, social media, promotional banners, campaign creatives, and other digital assets. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, product, and creator teams to turn ideas into designs that are both visually compelling and commercially effective.

We’re looking for someone who has strong visual judgment, moves quickly, and is comfortable working across different formats and design requirements.

What You’ll Own

Web & UI Design

  • Design and improve visual experiences across the Frankly Wearing website.
  • Create landing pages, promotional sections, banners, collection pages, and other web experiences.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to translate designs into polished digital experiences.
  • Maintain consistency across layouts, typography, imagery, and visual components.

Social Media Design

  • Create engaging visual creatives for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and other social channels.
  • Design posts, carousels, promotional content, creator features, and campaign assets.
  • Adapt creative concepts across different social formats and audiences.

Campaigns & Banners

  • Design homepage banners, promotional banners, sale campaigns, seasonal campaigns, and product promotions.
  • Develop creative variations for different campaigns, audiences, and placements.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create assets optimized for engagement and conversion.

Marketing Creative

  • Create visual assets for email campaigns, paid advertising, creator marketing, and other growth initiatives.
  • Rapidly iterate on creative based on campaign performance and feedback.
  • Help build a scalable library of reusable templates and design components.

Creator & Merchandise Content

  • Create promotional assets showcasing creators, designs, collections, and merchandise.
  • Help make individual designs and creator stories visually compelling across the platform.
  • Support creator-facing campaigns and promotional initiatives.

Gen AI & Creative Tools

  • Explore and use Gen AI tools to accelerate ideation, mockups, and content production.
  • Experiment with new design workflows that allow the team to produce high-quality creative faster.
  • Stay current with emerging AI-powered design and creative tools.

Must-have

  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic, digital, web, or visual design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating web design, social media creative, banners, and digital marketing assets.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and familiarity with tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to work across multiple formats and deliver designs quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain visual consistency.
  • Experience using Gen AI tools like Claude Design or Figma AI.

Strong Plus

  • Experience working with ecommerce, DTC, fashion, marketplaces, or consumer brands.
  • Experience designing for performance marketing or conversion-focused websites.
  • Familiarity with responsive web design and basic UI/UX principles.
  • Experience with motion graphics, GIFs, or short-form video.
  • Understanding of social media trends and digital-first visual communication.

You’ll work on meaningful design and UX problems in e-commerce, creator tooling, search/discovery, and platform scale — while having real ownership and influence over brand design.
