About this role
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services, the Diet Clerk is responsible for patient contact, nutrition care, diet compliance, patient menu management, data collection, and communication of patient needs. Serves as a backup for the Food Service Assistant, including meal service, stocking, inventory, cleaning, and documentation.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
1-5 years related experience required.
REQUIRED LICENSES/ CERTIFICATIONS
None
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Ability to read and write English; ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; excellent communication skills.
