Overview
The Pathways Project Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing initiatives that create a talent pipeline for future Direct Support Professionals. This includes coordinating recruitment efforts with local schools and colleges, organizing work-based learning opportunities, and supporting staff participation in the NADSP E-Badge credentialing program.

The role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to build relationships with students and staff to promote professional growth within the organization.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelorβs degree preferred.
- Qualified driver status.
- Successful completion of at least one E-Badge program preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual platforms (Teams, Zoom).
- Knowledge of NYS service systems for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
- Ability to engage students and staff effectively.
- Skilled in planning, organizing, and executing program activities.
Responsibilities
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:Β

- Develop and implement Pathways program activities, including recruitment plans, marketing materials, and community presentations.
- Coordinate work-based learning opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in human services.
- Support DSP/FLS staff with NADSP E-Badge requirements, including submission guidance, tracking progress, and facilitating support groups.
- Maintain accurate program records and prepare reports as needed.
- Attend meetings with NADSP representatives to review progress and identify trends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager of Learning and Professional Development.
