Résumé du rôle

Le Directeur Finance est responsable de la gouvernance financière globale de l’entreprise et de ses filiales. Cette personne veille à la préparation, à l’exactitude et à la conformité des rapports financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels. Elle pilote également la mise en place du cadre mondial de conformité et assure une gestion proactive, rigoureuse et stratégique de la trésorerie à court, moyen et long terme.

Ce rôle stratégique soutient directement la direction exécutive et contribue à la solidité financière, à la gestion des risques et à la performance globale du groupe.


Responsabilités principales:



Gouvernance financière et conformité

  • DĂ©velopper, maintenir et faire Ă©voluer le cadre de gouvernance financière de l’entreprise et de l’ensemble de ses filiales.
  • Mettre en place, harmoniser et superviser les politiques financières, administratives et de conformitĂ© Ă  l’échelle mondiale. 
  • Assurer le respect des obligations lĂ©gales, financières et rĂ©glementaires dans tous les territoires oĂą l’entreprise exerce ses activitĂ©s.
  • Documenter, renforcer et superviser les contrĂ´les internes afin de garantir l’intĂ©gritĂ© des informations financières et opĂ©rationnelles.


 Préparation et supervision des rapports financiers

  • Diriger la production des rapports financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels selon les normes comptables applicables (IFRS, US GAAP ou autres).
  • Garantir la qualitĂ©, l’exactitude et la ponctualitĂ© des Ă©tats financiers consolidĂ©s ainsi que des analyses de performance.
  • PrĂ©parer les analyses de gestion, les indicateurs clĂ©s de performance, les tableaux de bord exĂ©cutifs et les recommandations stratĂ©giques destinĂ©es Ă  la direction et au conseil d’administration.
  • Assurer la coordination des travaux avec les auditeurs externes et internes.


 Conformité mondiale et cadre légal

  • DĂ©ployer un programme global de conformitĂ© couvrant notamment la gouvernance, les obligations lĂ©gales, la confidentialitĂ©, la gestion documentaire et les normes sectorielles applicables.
  • Superviser la fonction lĂ©gale interne dans les domaines suivants :
    • RĂ©vision et nĂ©gociation des contrats;
    • ConformitĂ© rĂ©glementaire dans les diffĂ©rentes juridictions;
    • InterprĂ©tation et application des politiques corporatives;
    • Gestion des risques juridiques et rĂ©putationnels.
  • Veiller Ă  l’alignement de l’ensemble des processus avec les standards corporatifs et s’assurer de leur application par les filiales.


 Gestion du cash et stratégie financière

  • Mettre en place, maintenir et optimiser une prĂ©vision de trĂ©sorerie sur 13 semaines, en assurer la fiabilitĂ© et la mise Ă  jour continue.
  • Planifier et optimiser les besoins de liquiditĂ©s, les flux inter-compagnies et la structure du capital.
  • DĂ©velopper des stratĂ©gies de gestion de trĂ©sorerie visant Ă  amĂ©liorer la liquiditĂ©, rĂ©duire les risques financiers et soutenir la croissance.
  • Superviser les relations bancaires et financières, incluant le financement, les marges de crĂ©dit et les nĂ©gociations avec les partenaires financiers.


 Leadership et gestion d’équipe

  • Encadrer, mobiliser et dĂ©velopper les Ă©quipes finances et juridiques.
  • Assurer la formation, le dĂ©veloppement des talents et l’excellence opĂ©rationnelle au sein des Ă©quipes.
  • Promouvoir une culture de rigueur, d’intĂ©gritĂ©, de collaboration et d’amĂ©lioration continue.


Compétences et qualifications recherchées

  • Titre de CPA, MBA ou formation Ă©quivalente en finance, comptabilitĂ© ou gestion.
  • Minimum de 10 Ă  15 ans d’expĂ©rience en finance corporative, gouvernance et gestion financière stratĂ©gique.
  • Solide expĂ©rience en conformitĂ© internationale et en gestion de filiales.
  • ExpĂ©rience avancĂ©e en gestion de trĂ©sorerie et en planification des liquiditĂ©s.
  • Excellentes habiletĂ©s en communication, en rĂ©daction et en influence stratĂ©gique.
  • Leadership reconnu dans des environnements complexes, multisites et en croissance.
  • CompĂ©tences linguistiques : Français obligatoire - des cours seront offerts si nĂ©cessaire pour faciliter l'intĂ©gration. Bonnes compĂ©tences en anglais pour les lectures d'ouvrages spĂ©cialisĂ©s/scientifiques non disponibles en français.

Role Summary
The Director of Finance is responsible for the overall financial governance of the company and its subsidiaries. This role ensures the preparation, accuracy and compliance of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting. The Director of Finance also leads the implementation of a global compliance framework and ensures proactive, rigorous and strategic cash management over the short, medium and long term.

This strategic role directly supports the executive leadership team and contributes to the group’s financial strength, risk management and overall performance.


Key Responsibilities:



Financial Governance and Compliance

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve the financial governance framework of the company and all its subsidiaries.
  • Implement, harmonize and oversee financial, administrative and compliance policies at a global level.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, financial and regulatory obligations in all jurisdictions where the company operates.
  • Document, strengthen and oversee internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial and operational information.


Financial Reporting Preparation and Oversight

  • Lead the production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP or others).
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of consolidated financial statements and performance analyses.
  • Prepare management analyses, key performance indicators, executive dashboards and strategic recommendations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Coordinate activities with external and internal auditors.


Global Compliance and Legal Framework

  • Deploy a global compliance program covering governance, legal obligations, confidentiality, document management and applicable industry standards.
  • Oversee the internal legal function in the following areas:
    • Contract review and negotiation
    • Regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
    • Interpretation and application of corporate policies
    • Management of legal and reputational risks
    • Ensure alignment of all processes with corporate standards and monitor their application across subsidiaries.


Cash Management and Financial Strategy

  • Implement, maintain and optimize a 13-week cash flow forecast, ensuring its reliability and continuous updating.
  • Plan and optimize liquidity needs, intercompany flows and capital structure.
  • Develop treasury management strategies to improve liquidity, reduce financial risks and support growth.
  • Oversee banking and financial relationships, including financing, credit facilities and negotiations with financial partners.


Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead, engage and develop finance and legal teams.
  • Ensure training, talent development and operational excellence within the teams.
  • Promote a culture of rigor, integrity, collaboration and continuous improvement.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • CPA designation, MBA or equivalent education in finance, accounting or management.
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in corporate finance, governance and strategic financial management.
  • Strong experience in international compliance and subsidiary management.
  • Advanced experience in cash management and liquidity planning.
  • Excellent communication, writing and strategic influence skills.
  • Recognized leadership in complex, multi-site and growth-oriented environments.
  • Language skills: French required – courses will be offered if necessary to support integration. Good English skills required for reading specialized or scientific material not available in French.
