About the Director, Corporate Sponsorships Role: 

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Corporate Partnership Sales is responsible for developing and executing an integrated corporate partnership strategy that generates sustainable revenue while strengthening BRIC's brand, community engagement, and organizational impact. This leadership role will identify, cultivate, negotiate, and manage strategic corporate partnerships, working collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop innovative opportunities and ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives. 


What You’ll Do in the Role: The Director, Corporate Sponsorships will be responsible for the following, in addition to other projects as assigned by the Chief Revenue Officer: 

Strategic Partnerships & Business Development

  • Develop and execute BRIC's corporate partnership and sponsorship strategy to achieve annual revenue goals and advance the organization's strategic priorities.
  • Develop groundbreaking, integrated 360-degree marketing and sponsorship concepts and proposals that enhance BRIC's brand, audience engagement, community impact, and revenue generation.
  • Identify, cultivate, and secure new corporate partnerships and sponsorships by expanding BRIC's prospect pipeline and account portfolio through creative lead generation and strategic business development.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of the partnership sales process, including sourcing leads, generating a qualified pipeline, assessing opportunities, conducting valuations, negotiating business terms, and managing agreements through legal review and contract execution.
  • Achieve individual, team, and sponsorship revenue goals while effectively managing partnership inventory and sales objectives.

Partnership Management & Execution

  • Lead the full partnership and sponsorship lifecycle, including prospecting, relationship management, proposal development, negotiation, contract execution, activation, fulfillment, renewal, and expansion opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective partners to maximize retention, partnership growth, and revenue opportunities.
  • Oversee sponsorship activation and fulfillment to ensure exceptional client service, successful execution of partnership commitments, and measurable return on investment (ROI) for sponsors and partners.
  • Monitor partnership performance and identify opportunities to optimize results, strengthen relationships, and maximize organizational impact.
  • Maintain accurate prospecting activity, pipeline forecasts, and partnership reporting through Salesforce CRM.

Leadership, Collaboration & Organizational Impact

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Programming, Production, Finance, and other departments to identify partnership assets, develop integrated opportunities, and successfully execute sponsorship initiatives.
  • Lead the development of sponsorship assets, sales collateral, presentations, and customized proposals that effectively communicate BRIC's value proposition.
  • Align and execute sponsorship sales initiatives in support of departmental and organizational revenue goals.
  • Represent BRIC at networking events, industry conferences, promotional events, and community functions to cultivate new business relationships and strengthen the organization's visibility.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Chief Revenue Officer in support of BRIC's strategic plan and revenue objectives.

    • Relevant industry experience required
    • Bachelor’s degree requires
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in Partnership industry preferred
    • Proven record of hitting goals/budgets
    • Knowledge of sponsorship measurement tools and processes
    • Schedule flexibility to attend BRIC programs, special events, and external meetings. This
    • position will involve working outside of standard business hours to accommodate business
    • needs.
    • Keen attention to detail, strong conflict resolution, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $95K - $130K.
  • Status and location: This is a full-time, exempt role based in our Brooklyn office. 
  • Benefits: BRIC has a comprehensive benefits package, including: paid time off, 403B retirement plan, pre-tax transit cards, medical flexible spending plans and more. BRIC currently pays 100% of the premium for employee medical, dental and vision coverage starting on the first of the month after 2 months of employment.
