THE ROLE

CAA Brand Consulting is growing following a streak of new business wins and we’re seeking a Director, Creative Strategy (f/m/d) to play a central role in what comes next. Based in our Munich office this is an opportunity to join a fast-growing international team at an exciting and defining stage in its evolution.

What does the role involve?

Shape strategy across the business

  • Lead day-to-day strategy across multiple accounts, growing both the work and the relationships.
  • Develop insight-led brand, campaign and partnership strategies across content, experiences, sponsorships and integrated campaigns.
  • Translate research, cultural insight and data into clear direction that account and creative teams can act on.

Be the creative catalyst

  • Write world-class briefs that inform and inspire ambitious, effective creative work.
  • Write strategic and creative decks in modern, confident German – and turn English-language ideas into German that feels native, not translated.
  • Work with creative teams to shape compelling strategic platforms, narratives and campaign ideas.
  • Bring clarity and energy to workshops, brainstorms and creative development sessions.

Build partnerships powered by culture

  • Spot cultural shifts, emerging platforms, and partnership opportunities before others do.
  • Connect brands to sport, entertainment, talent and culture in ways that feel natural, relevant and valuable.
  • Craft audience tensions and cultural truths that unlock fandom, shift behaviour and build deeper brand connections.

Help shape the future of strategy

  • Bring strategic firepower to new business pitches and proactive ideas that grow existing accounts.
  • Advance how we work across digital, social, content and channel planning, and shape how the team uses AI in research, insight and idea development.
  • Build collaborative relationships that create alignment, momentum and confidence across projects.

What you bring:

  • Significant experience in strategy, planning, brand consulting or integrated communications
  • Strong experience developing partnership strategies and campaigns, with a deep understanding of how brands create value through sport, entertainment and culture
  • Experience working across Creative, Insights & Analytics, Account and Client Teams
  • Strong strategic storytelling, writing and presentation skills
  • Confidence in workshops, brainstorms and senior stakeholder discussions
  • The ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with fast-moving client and creative demands
  • Hands-on mentality paired with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
  • Experience across global markets with a focus on EMEA
  • German at C2 level with the ability to write creatively, and English at C1 or above
