Practice Description

Accordion's Data & Analytics (D&A) team offers cutting-edge, intelligent solutions to a global clientele, leveraging a blend of domain knowledge, sophisticated technology tools, and deep analytics capabilities to tackle complex business challenges.

We partner with Private Equity clients and their Portfolio Companies across diverse sectors, including Retail, CPG, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Technology, and Logistics.

We deliver data and analytical solutions designed to streamline reporting capabilities and enhance business insights across vast and complex data sets ranging from Sales, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Customer Strategies, and more.

This role is based in London and with the flexibility to work remotely.  Ideal candidates should be local to the desired location.

This position is eligible for visa sponsorship.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead across multiple engagements at once with a strategic, light‑touch cadence, ensuring every project tracks to north star outcomes.
  • Support go‑to‑market across European PE sponsors and portfolio CFOs, turning relationships into qualified opportunities.
  • Shape and quality‑assure proposals and pricing, partnering with MDs and Hyderabad managers.
  • Integrate Data & Analytics into FinStrat, CFO Tech, and Transformation, showing how data accelerates FP&A models and CFO change.
  • Set delivery standards and ways of working for a one‑team UK–India model, removing blockers and resolving issues quickly.
  • Guide SteerCo narrative and escalation, keeping sponsors confident and decisions moving.
  • Develop the team, mentoring VPs and managers, and informing the UK hiring plan and Hyderabad squad composition.
  • Amplify wins, securing references, case studies, and event exposure with our marketing team.
  • Shape proposals and pricing with clear problem statements, scope, commercials, and a pragmatic plan of work.
  • Translate strategy into build, turning ambiguous asks into simple, usable solutions and actionable insights.
  • Regularly engage in peer level discussions with the C-Suite / C-1 Suite of client organisations, to partner with them as a trusted data management advisor.
  • Regularly and extensively travel across Europe to work with clients in the relevant jurisdictions

  • A high‑performing hybrid team, with Directors and VPs operating as consistent quality bar‑

What you will bring:

  • Credibility with PE sponsors and portfolio CFOs, plus a record of shaping and selling data‑led work.
  • Ability to translate strategy into pragmatic delivery plans that our India hub can execute at pace.
  • Strong proposal writing and commercial judgement, including pricing for value.
  • Experience leading multi‑project portfolios and cross‑practice collaboration.
  • People leadership, mentoring senior ICs, and setting standards across distributed teams.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience with 2+ years’ experience in client facing/professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership & proactive communication to coordinate with the project team and other internal stakeholders.
