Overview
As a Director of Product Management for Payments at RealPage, you are a senior strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the vision, strategy, and customer value delivery of Payments product within the portfolio. You will lead and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while driving innovation, market impact, and customer success. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Payments Product, you will play a pivotal role in defining product direction, guiding lifecycle strategies, and representing RealPage as a thought leader in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development
- Manage, mentor, set career paths, and grow a large team of Product Managers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, Cross-functional collaboration, and innovation.
- Strategic Product Ownership
- Lead and own strategic products or technical product areas within the Payments portfolio.
- Focus on people leadership and delivery of strategic outcomes.
- Collaborate and set strategic product direction including project creation and alignment for quarterly & annual road mapping cycles
- Financial & Business Management
- Establish Key success metrics for overall financial impact of product decisions.
- Responsible for product-level budget goals as assigned
- Ensure product investments align with business objectives and ROI targets.
- Vision & Roadmap
- Align product initiatives with corporate strategy and market opportunities.
- Lifecycle Management
- Develop and execute product lifecycle strategies, including go-to-market, migration, transformation, escalation management and sunset planning.
- Market Readiness & Enablement
- Drive product introduction and launch readiness across multiple initiatives.
- Partner with design and enablement teams to ensure successful adoption and customer engagement.
- Measure performance against metrics post launch, to validate success
- Customer & Market Engagement
- Lead discovery initiatives, user groups, and customer feedback forums.
- Translate insights into actionable product strategies that deliver measurable value.
- Industry Leadership
- Represent RealPage at industry conferences and events.
- Provide thought leadership and market perspective for targeted product lines.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 12- 15 years of industry-specific domain experience and/or relevant business/product management expertise.
- 8-10 years of management experience leading product teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven ability to define and execute product vision and strategy at scale.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and assessing product ROI.
- Expertise in product lifecycle management, including migration and sunset strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
- Strong communication and executive presence, with experience in public speaking and industry thought leadership.
- Ability to engage with customers, synthesize insights, and translate them into impactful product outcomes.
