About this role
We are looking for a Director Regional Controller EMEA to lead financial governance, accounting operations, compliance, and transformation activities across multiple countries within the EMEA region. The role combines operational leadership with responsibility for strengthening controls, supporting restructuring initiatives, and driving process improvements in a complex international environment.
This is a senior finance leadership position requiring strong multinational experience, deep accounting expertise, and the ability to balance governance, transformation, and operational execution across regional teams.
Responsibilities
• Own accounting operations and financial governance across EMEA
• Partner with business stakeholders on finance and accounting topics
• Lead statutory reporting and regulatory compliance activities across multiple countries
• Manage and coordinate regional finance teams
• Own internal and external audit processes and ensure timely completion
• Improve financial controls and resolve historical accounting issues
• Implement processes around intercompany loans and documentation standards
• Support restructuring initiatives, transitions and operational transformation programmes
• Drive process improvements across finance operations and reporting activities
• Support integration and change management activities where required

Requirements
• Minimum 8+ years progressive finance/accounting experience
• Experience in regional or multinational finance leadership roles
• Strong SAP experience
• Experience managing international or regional teams
• Strong understanding of IFRS, statutory reporting and regulatory compliance
• Proven experience with external audits and governance processes
• Experience improving controls and implementing process changes
• Experience operating in complex multinational organisations

• Experience in shared services environments
• Exposure to Genpact or outsourced operations
• Experience with restructuring, M&A integration or transformation programmes
• Experience with intercompany accounting and loans
• Background in industries such as manufacturing, telecom, fintech, gaming or other multinational environments
