Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00

Job Description

How You'll Make an Impact

As the District Manager for our Healthcare business segment, you will provide strategic leadership, direction, and operational oversight across a portfolio of healthcare accounts throughout Ontario. You will serve as the primary relationship manager for key clients while ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, compliance, and employee engagement.

Operational Leadership & Client Partnership

  • Provide operational leadership across multiple healthcare sites, ensuring consistent service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary liaison for client relationships, conducting regular business reviews and supporting contract negotiations.
  • Drive client retention and business growth through collaboration with operations, support, and sales teams.
  • Ensure alignment with client goals, contractual obligations, and organizational objectives while delivering innovative solutions and value-added services.

Financial Management

  • Oversee regional financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and revenue growth.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost savings, and performance improvement.

People & Talent Development

  • Lead, mentor, and coach site leadership teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement talent and succession plans to support long-term business needs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.

Compliance & Safety

  • Foster a culture of safety and ensure compliance with company, client, and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, client standards, and collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
  • Support sites in maintaining quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and operational standards.

Business Growth & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Support business development initiatives, proposals, and client retention strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and industry contacts as appropriate.

Qualifications

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive multi-site operational leadership experience, preferably within healthcare or a related industry.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or active member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM).
  • Experience and knowledge of MOLTC Regulations
  • Experience with internal and external retail brands is considered an asset.
  • Proven success managing budgets, driving financial performance, and improving operational results.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and a commitment to delivering client-focused solutions.
  • Experience working in unionized environments and managing collective agreement relationships.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.
