We currently have an opportunity for a Dock Attendant to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team! 

Responsibilities

  • Guest-facing position that is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests 
  • Ties up vessels upon their arrival to marina  
  • Checks guests in to the marina, and responds to guest needs during their stay  
  • Provides onsite customer service for residence, club members and transient marina guests as well as hotel guests 
  • Answers guest’s questions about the property or the surrounding area attractions.  
  • Fuels vessels acting as PIC, contains and cleans up any fuel spills which occur during fueling  
  • Attends annual fuel training 
  • Accepts packages or arranges for deliveries to marina guests  
  • Drives golf cart in tight areas.  
  • Provides pump-out to guests in the marina.   
  • Patrol the docks, keeping in radio contact with the office and maintains safety standards 
  • Cast off lines for departing boats and notify office of departure 
  • Maintain and control ice inventory on each wharf, sell ice to customers, and notify office when supply gets low 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to operate golf carts 
  • Must have a valid Florida driver’s license  
  • Must have the ability to communicate in English effectively 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must have the ability to work in hot, muggy, and inclement weather conditions on a continuous basis 
  • This position includes (long periods of) climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions 
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds 
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions 
  • Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above
