About this role
What You ‘ll Do
You will join our high performance engineering team and contribute to developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise desktop applications while supporting business-critical systems and operational excellence.
Develop and maintain desktop applications using WinForms, C#.NET, and VB.NET technologies.
Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases to support enterprise applications and business processes.
Create and maintain stored procedures, functions, indexes, and optimized database queries to improve system performance.
Manage and process large volumes of data while ensuring data integrity, scalability, and reliability.
Design user-friendly interfaces, dashboards, and reports using DevExpress controls and related UI frameworks.
Develop and maintain business reports and analytical outputs to support operational and management decision-making.
Collaborate with business users, development teams, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, estimation, and retrospectives.
Perform application maintenance, troubleshooting, bug fixing, and performance optimization activities.
Provide production support and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Contribute to end-to-end software development lifecycle activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Participate in client discussions, requirement gathering sessions, and project reviews as required.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to modernization initiatives involving modern development frameworks and tools.
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies such as Next.js and other modern application development frameworks.
Ensure timely delivery of stable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
What We Seek In You
- Strong experience in desktop application development using WinForms, C#.NET, and VB.NET.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server database development and administration.
- Strong expertise in writing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, indexes, and complex SQL queries.
- Experience handling large-scale databases and data-intensive enterprise applications.
- Experience designing and developing user interfaces and reports using DevExpress controls.
- Good understanding of reporting tools and business reporting solutions.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-based software development practices.
- Experience in application support, bug fixing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle processes and deployment practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, business, and customer stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience providing production support for enterprise applications.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for requirement gathering and project discussions when required.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn modern technologies, frameworks, and development approaches.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies or frameworks such as Next.js is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
