About this role
Town and Country Transit (TACT) is now hiring for driver positions!
Interested applicants must have:
- A valid driver’s license.
- An acceptable driving record from the state(s) lived in the prior three (3) years that passes hiring criteria found in TACT policies. (TACT 104 – Operator Hiring Policy).
- Pass a background check.
- Pass an initial DOT physical and recertification every 2 years, or as often as determined by a certifying medical profession.
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol test.
This position is safety-sensitive and is subject to Federal Transit Administration (FTA) drug and alcohol regulations in 49 CFR Part 655 and 49 CFR Part 40. Safety-sensitive employees are also subject to random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing throughout employment.
Wages:
- Probation
- 60 working days at $18.50 / hour
- After Probation
- $21.25 / hour
Benefits:
- Paid Time Off
- Part-Time
- 8 hours vacation for every 300 hours worked
- Full-Time (average 35+ hours per week during a quarter)
- Prorated if Full-Time Status earned throughout the year
- Full amount awarded July 1st each year
- Holidays
- Full-Time employees are paid for:
- New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
- Health / Vision/ Dental Insurances
- Full-Time employees
- Employees pay 15% of insurance premiums
- 401(k)
- Eligible after 1 year of service during open enrollment (January and July)
- Up to 5% company match
- Full-Time employees are paid for:
- Part-Time
