Sawmill Animal Hospital is the oldest veterinary hospital in Jones County, Mississippi, while its sister facility, North Jones Animal Hospital, is located just four miles down the road. Both locations are open to clients Monday through Friday. Many staff members have been with the practices for several years. Both facilities treat canine and feline patients and offer exceptional services, including boarding, dental care, digital radiology, grooming, in-clinic diagnostic testing, hospitalization/intensive care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, pain management, pharmacy services, preventative care, surgery, therapeutic laser treatments, ultrasound, vaccinations, and more.

Laurel has gained popularity recently, thanks in part to HGTV’s "Home Town," which showcases Erin and Ben Napier renovating old homes in their hometown. Laurel’s Main Street features a variety of shops, bakeries, restaurants, and local events. For art enthusiasts, the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art is a must-visit. The town stays active by hosting numerous events, including Crawfests and 5 K runs.

Qualifications
- Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
