Dy. Manager Installation, Erection & commissioning

SMRT(i)PL, we have Rock Processing business area, which is a leading supplier in equipment, services, support and technical solutions for construction and mining industry and specialist in Crushing, Screening, Mobile plants, and attachments

We are looking for a dynamic and an energetic Dy. Manager Installation, Erection & commissioning, this role will be based at Hyderabad.

Job Synopsis:

The Installation, Erection & Commissioning Team is expected to deliver the supplied Crushing and Screening Plants/Equipment as per the OEM drawings supplied by design and complete successful installation, erection, commissioning, testing, and handover of crushing and screening plants at customer sites. The role ensures compliance with safety, quality, project timelines, and customer requirements while providing technical support during commissioning and stabilization of plant operations. With this Sandvik is looking to grow the Plant and Solutions Business to next level and provide exceptional services in terms of plant deliveries

Installation & Erection

1.Supervise installation and erection activities of crushing, screening, washing, conveying, and material han

1.Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and readiness checks.

2.Execute no-load and load trials of crushing and screening plants.

3.Commission electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, MCCs, instrumentation, and safety interlocks.

4.Optimize plant performance to achieve design capacity, product quality, and operational efficiency.

5.Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and process-related issues during commissioning.

6.Ensure successful performance testing and plant handover to customers.

Project Coordination

1.Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, procurement teams, vendors, and customers.

2.Ensure availability of tools, manpower, and site resources.

3.Support project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.

4.Monitor work progress against project timelines and escalate risks proactively.

Quality & Safety

1.Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and customer safety regulations.

2.Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings at project sites.

3.Verify adherence to installation quality standards and commissioning procedures.

4.Ensure all work permits and safety documentation are maintained.

Documentation & Reporting

1.Prepare installation and commissioning reports.

2.Maintain punch point lists and closure reports.

3.Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

4.Prepare handover documents, equipment checklists, and customer acceptance certificates.

5.Record lessons learned and provide feedback to engineering teams.

Customer Support

1.Provide operator and maintenance staff training during project handover.

2.Support customers during plant stabilization period.

3.Attend breakdowns and resolve technical issues during warranty periods.

4.Build strong customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
