Job Description

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will join our Bicester team to support our activities within the aerospace engineering sector.

You will support the design and integration of electrical systems within complex engineering programmes, contributing to both installation and validation activities. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards while supporting testing and delivery phases.

  • Location: Bicester
  • On Site: Hybrid
  • Clearance: Clearable
  • Experience Level: Mid to Junior

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop low voltage electrical systems
  • Support installation and integration of electrical equipment
  • Participate in and support DANA testing and validation activities
  • Ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical design engineering
  • Experience working with low voltage electrical systems

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of aerospace or defence engineering environments
  • Experience with electrical equipment installation processes
  • Familiarity with testing and validation methodologies
