What will be your task at this position?

Responsible for the electrical engineering for gas turbine packages.

He/she will be mainly responsible for the design of the electrical system of a gas turbine package, preparation of technical specifications, interface definition with customer LV/MV system, electrical cubicle package production.

He/she will cooperate with mechanical, controls and software engineers and electrical drafters as a project leader to engineer a complete package for power generation, and will have contact with suppliers, workshop and customers. The role involves approximately 25 % travel.

Responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Electrical design of Power Generation Packages

  • Configure the standard product to the project requirement;

  • Specifying and evaluating electrical components

  • Produce specification, documentation and manuals

  • Generate purchasing orders for standard components and extended scope;

  • Oversee the work of the draftsman and work in a team within his group;

  • Prepare part lists, manufacturing documentation, follow up internal production;

  • Support the production and involved departments, from Sales to After Sales Service

  • Meet the client for technical clarification meetings.

Additional competences below are considered a plus:

  • Drafting experience (AutoCAD and PromisE), to prepare:

o PromisE and AutoCAD electrical drawing for the project

o Drawings from single line diagram to detailed drawings

  • Experience in design of Electrical systems for cogeneration power plants and BoP.

The position requires a high degree of discipline, organizational and communication skills.

What do we expect from a suitable candidate

  • Formal education in Electrical and/or Control Engineering or equivalent knowledge/skills obtained on the job

  • Fluent technical English and German is a must

  • At least 5/8 years experience in Electrical Engineering and/or commissioning and panel design experience

  • Proved experience in electrical system engineering (medium voltage systems, low voltage distribution systems, supervisory and control systems)

  • Experience on machinery certification and CE directives (ATEX, LV, EMC, Machine)

  • Competence on technical specification writing out

  • Competence and capabilities in technical project execution

  • Willingness to learn and share with team members. Strong initiative and strength in delivering results.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player with a positive attitude, patience, understanding, and flexibility.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain productive working relationships.

Top candidates will also have:

  • Windchill

  • P&ID’s, Logic Diagrams, Cause / Effect matrices, Electrical schematics

  • Microsoft Visio and Projects and Proficiency in MS Office tools

  • Experience in Power Generation and Oil & Gas Industry

Base Minimum Pay:

Kč1,162,644.00
