Electrical Engineer (OCS) - Junior

Context

The High Speed Green line project is progressing with the installation of catenary and requires supervision of the deployment on site

Missions/Main Duties

- Supervise on-site catenary installation, construction activities for the electrical cables and earthing, and test

- Undertake material inspections, working inspection, installation inspection, quality control checks

- Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Inspections Test (SAT)

reviewing contractors’ method statements.

- Ensuring the electrical safety measures put in place by the contractor

- Prepare reports and communicate to the OCS manager

- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contractors on technical issues

Profile/Skills

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

- Interest in railway systems, electrification, construction supervision

- Experience in installation of above-ground electrical lines, distribution, isolation and earthing

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office (outlook, teams..)

- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage

- Willingness to work on project sites aling the mainline across North and East Egypt (green line corridor)

- Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills

- Fluent verbal and written English skills are required
