Emergency Medicine Physician – St. Mary’s General Hospital (Passaic, NJ)

Location: Passaic, New Jersey

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem

Compensation: $190–$225/hr + RVU Bonus Structure

Shifts: Mix of days, evenings, and nights available

Mentorship: New grads welcome – mentorship available!

St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our dynamic Emergency Department. Position Highlights

• Competitive hourly rate: $190–$225/hr, based on experience

Hospital & ED Overview

• St. Mary’s General Hospital is a 287-bed facility in downtown Passaic
• ~30,000–35,000 annual ED visits
• Fast access to specialty support: cardiology, critical care, OB, ortho, etc.
• Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center designation
• Efficient patient flow supported by in-house hospitalist team
• Epic EMR (or Cerner, depending on implementation timing)

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Active or eligible New Jersey medical license
• Current DEA and CDS certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Strong communication skills and team-first mentality

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $190-$225 Per Hour + RVU Bonus  on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
