About This Opportunity

Emergency Medicine physicians wanted for shift coverage in community hospitals in the Western Zone. This is a great opportunity for a family medicine and emergency medicine physicians to join the medical teams in Middleton, Digby, Shelburne, Liverpool and Lunenburg. Requirements include up-to-date ACLS and PALS, ATLS is a preferred qualification. In addition, there is an opportunity to participate in teaching medical students and family practice residents from Dalhousie Medical School.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • full scope of practice as an emergency physician providing care to patients within the zone
  • responsible to the Zone Department Head for Emergency Medicine for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.

Remuneration

$223.90 Daytime

$233.87 Nighttime
