Job Description
The environmental expert will be responsible for delivering support to meet the needs of business at our client’s offices (government affiliate).
More specifically, you will:
- Prepare periodic reports on environmental conditions and pollution levels.
- Review local and international regulations and classify pollutants.
- Recommend appropriate environmental parameters for testing based on the type of pollution, environmental medium, and applicable classifications.
- Prepare reports on local and international best practices for environmental sample collection, preservation, and location selection.
- Prepare reports on approved local and international best practices for environmental sample analysis.
- Prepare technical reports for environmental surveys and studies.
- Analyze environmental data and reports upon request.
- Prepare, review, and interpret environmental reports and monitoring data.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (EPA, NCEC, ISO, etc.).
- Prepare technical recommendations and advisory reports.
- Support clients with regulatory submissions and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6–10 years of relevant laboratory and environmental monitoring experience.
- Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
