Job Description

  • Ensures the implementation of environmental measures/actioned defined as result of inspections, audits etc.
  • Ensures immediate notification / information and initiates preventive measures in case of environmental emergency situations ( accidental air pollution, water pollution etc.).
  • Creates and maintains a register it the Romanian legal requirements in  force, with the internal requirements  ( corporate requirement) applicable for Environmental Protection.
  • Implements and ensures the compliance with the Rumanian legal requirements in  force, with the internal requirements ( corporate requirement) applicable for Environmental Protection.
  • Implements and ensures the compliance with the Environmental Authorization and Permits provisions.
  • Follows the implementation of the identified opportunities.
  • Creates and keep updated the relevant environmental statistics/ inventories, such as: emissions, waste, chemicals/hazardous substances; solvent balance, utilities specific consumption, complaints, findings identified during the audits, environmental guard inspections etc.
  • Prepares and transmits, in time, reports, statistics required by the legislation in force and internally ( plant, corporate).Ensures and follows the implementation of the environmental aspects ( waste water quality, ai emission, waste, solvent balance, packages, other relevant processes ) required to be monitored according with the valid environmental authorization/permit.
  • Elaborates preparedness and intervention plans for accidental environmental incidents.
  • Reports, offers support for extraordinary events/emergency situation, such as: emission spills, liquid spills, chemicals spills etc.
  • Initiates authorization processes for installations that require permits.
  • Ensures the continuity of Environmental Authorization/ Permit validity.

Qualifications

  • University education in engineering, chemistry or natural sciences
  • Graduation of the Faculty for Environmental Engineering, would be an advantage.
  • Diploma for graduation of the waste responsible course would be an advantage
  • Diploma for graduation the ISO 14001 course, would be an advantage.
  • Environmental relevant experience ( technical, legislation, operational), nice to have
  • Internal Auditor experience (audit preparation, audit performing etc) at least 1 year, would be an advantage
  • English knowledge, medium level
  • MS Office knowledge
