Job Description
The EOL Program Manager is responsible for leading the product transition and end-of-life (EOL) management for Consumer products, from EOL initiation through final obsolescence. This role drives cross-functional alignment across Product Management, Sales, Pricing, Supply Chain Planning, Procurement & Operations, to ensure successful execution of product ramp-down strategies and excess & obsolete (E&O) avoidance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage end-to-end EOL planning & execution, including product transition, inventory assessment, EOL plan development and ramp-down activities including Last Time Build (LTB) and Last Time Ship (LTS) execution.
- Consolidate and analyze data from multiple cross-functional sources to generate actionable insights to support EOL plan and decisions. Translate complex data into business recommendation and actions.
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders across Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Operation, Pricing, Sales and Product Management to develop and execute EOL plan.
- Drive inventory depletion strategies, what-if analysis and scenario planning to avoid excess and obsolete (E&O).
- Develop KPIs and executive report to provide visibility into EOL program status, inventory exposure, key risks and mitigation plan.
- Communicate program status and excess inventory summary, drive phase-gate governance, and track functional actions to ensure timely EOL execution.
- Conduct post-EOL reviews and lesson learned to identify improvement opportunities, including root cause analysis of excess inventory exposure.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Program Management or related functions.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to consolidate, interpret and present complex data into meaningful business insights.
- Program/project management, stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with PowerBI or other data analytics or visualization tools is an advantage.
