Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineer to support power sales operations, billing processes, and client coordination. The role involves technical-commercial interaction with clients, accurate invoicing, and maintaining billing data with strong analytical oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Power Sales & Client Coordination
- Coordinate with clients for power sale invoices and agreements
- Handle client queries and participate in technical discussions related to power supply, set-off documents, and billing
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
2. Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare and verify monthly energy invoices based on consumption data and applicable tariffs
- Ensure accuracy in billing as per PPA/agreements and regulatory norms
- Track payments and support reconciliation activities
3. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain billing records, energy data, and transaction details in an organized manner
- Analyse Credit issued by DISCOM for discrepancies
- Prepare reports (daily/monthly) for sharing to inter-department
4. Technical Support
- Understand tariff orders, policies, PPA T&C
- Assist in resolving billing or technical discrepancies with clients
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts (power systems, metering, energy accounting)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in MS Excel (data handling, basic formulas, reporting)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in billing
