Overview
Job Title: Exhaust Operator
Job Location: Williamsport, PA
Under minimal supervision, and in accordance with written and oral instructions, performs operations required to; prepare and chemically clean/plate components, load and operate furnaces in order to perform brazing operations, load and operate exhaust stations to evacuate (vacuum exhaust) tubes. Standard procedures are established and work is semi-routine in nature
Responsibilities
- Prepare and install tubes for exhaust cycle.
- Monitor/control temperature and pressure to meet specifications of various tubes.
- Troubleshoot potential vacuum leaks on tubes and/or exhaust stations.
- Record / maintain data sheets as required by procedure.
- Maintain work area in clean / orderly manner.
- Maintain barcode accuracy at 100%
- Initiate clear pass down instructions for next shift.
- Grit / Bead blast exhausted tubes and components as specified.
- Inspect/PM equipment as specified.
Qualifications
- Associates in Electronics or equivalent preferred but not required
- Able to perform mathematical calculations.
- Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
- Good organizational skills, and able to give and follow oral and written instructions.
- Trainable on programmable DCP’s.
- Able to read mechanical drawings / blueprints.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear personal protective equipment.
