Overview
Our LINCOLN, CHEVROLET AND TOYOTA dealerships are part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail.
With a new fleet shop opening soon, we’re expanding our teams and looking for skilled, hard‑working technicians who want steady work, strong support, and room to grow.
We’re hiring immediately for:
- 3 Certified Diesel Technicians
- 8 Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technicians
- 4 Mainline Automotive Technicians (Chevy / Toyota)
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
- Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
Qualifications
- 4+ years of automotive technician or mechanic experience
- Automotive technical or trade school degree
- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in: brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license in the state and good driving record
