Position Details

• Role: Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: $19 - $22 / hour
• Schedule: 35 - 39-hour workweeks. Rotating Friday and Saturday shifts.
• Requirements: Licensing and experience are strongly preferred, but tech students and new graduates are welcome to apply!

Heritage Veterinary Hospital is looking for an innovative, passionate, and easygoing full-time Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We are an AAHA-accredited practice and pride ourselves on excellent care and thorough client communication. We have a passionate, well-educated, and fun staff. What You’ll Contribute

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
• Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
• Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
