Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical Psychologist, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.Every day you will perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide a variety of direct treatments. You will be expected to consistently meet patient care productivity standards, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families, and promote a positive customer service environment.To be successful in this role, you must possess strong age-appropriate competency skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

 

  • The rehabilitation psychologist interested in the neurorehabilitation of patients with acquired brain injuries in a unique and highly established holistic milieu-oriented center.
  • The BNI is a world renowned neurosurgical and neurological institute.
  • The CTN is the last step of a full service BNI rehabilitation continuum and is designed to successfully transition patients to their homes communities school and work environments. 
  • Candidates should have experience in neuropsychological/psychological assessment as well as individual and group psychotherapy with neurological patients and their families.
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a large vibrant interdisciplinary team composed of speech physical occupational and recreational therapists a dietitian psychiatrists and a psychiatrist. 
  • Some administrative and case management responsibilities are associated with this position to ensure cohesive interventions. 
  • Research interest is highly desired and resident training is prioritized. 

 

Job Requirements

Required

  • PHD in Clinical Neuropsychology or Clinical Psychology with advanced training in neuropsychology
  • One to three years clinical neuropsychology experience
  • One year post-doctoral training in neuropsychology
  • One additional year of experience, or two years of post-doctoral training
  • Psychologist AZ License
