Job Description

  • Team Leadership & Project Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of facility engineers. Prioritize and oversee projects related to facility infrastructure, equipment upgrades, repairs, and process improvements. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • IFM (CBRE) Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the IFM provider (CBRE). Coordinate day-to-day operations, monitor service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and compliance. Conduct regular reviews, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in outsourced maintenance services.
  • Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and control the annual facility maintenance and capital expenditure budget. Track costs, identify savings opportunities, forecast expenses, and prepare variance reports.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, project status, energy usage, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, regulatory (OSHA, EPA, local codes), and Bosch internal standards.
  • Maintenance & Reliability: Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural), manufacturing equipment support, and utilities. Troubleshoot complex issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and operational enhancements. 
  • Safety: Champion a strong safety culture. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and training as needed. Support facility expansions, renovations, or new equipment installations.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (required). Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) is a plus.
  • Experience:5 years of progressive experience in facilities engineering or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • 4 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, projects, and outsourced service providers (IFM experience strongly preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, utilities).
  • Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), project management tools, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting and budgeting).
  • Familiarity with lean principles, energy management, and sustainability practices.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
