Field Recruiter

Overview

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Field Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This role will focus on the high-volume recruitment of salaried restaurant management talent across our Firebirds locations.

The Field Recruiter will partner closely with our Operations and Human Resources teams to identify, attract, and hire strong restaurant leaders. We are looking for someone who understands the hospitality industry, knows how to connect with restaurant professionals, and can successfully manage multiple openings and markets at the same time.

The ideal candidate has previous restaurant and/or hospitality recruiting experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a strong sense of urgency and follow-through to the recruiting process.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for salaried restaurant management positions across Firebirds Wood Fired Grill locations.
• Recruit for restaurant leadership positions including General Managers, Assistant General Managers, Executive Chefs, Sous Chefs, and other management roles.
• Manage a high volume of open requisitions across multiple locations and markets simultaneously.
• Partner closely with Regional Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, and Human Resources to understand hiring priorities and staffing needs.
• Proactively source and engage active and passive restaurant management candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels.
• Develop and maintain strong pipelines of restaurant and hospitality management talent for current and future opportunities.
• Conduct initial candidate screens to evaluate restaurant experience, leadership background, career goals, compensation expectations, and overall fit with Firebirds.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring leaders and provide recommendations based on experience and position requirements.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring leaders throughout the recruiting process.
• Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through the hiring process.
• Maintain regular communication with Operations regarding candidate pipelines, hiring progress, recruiting challenges, and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies for challenging positions and markets.
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate, requisition, and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Effectively prioritize changing hiring needs while maintaining a high level of organization and follow-through.
• Partner with the Human Resources team on additional recruiting initiatives and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience preferred.
• Restaurant, hospitality, and/or multi-unit recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• High-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience recruiting salaried restaurant management positions preferred.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and management structures, including both front-of-house and back-of-house leadership positions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions, candidates, markets, and hiring manager relationships simultaneously.
• Strong sourcing skills with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable partnering with Regional Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, and other Operations leaders.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a hybrid work environment.
• Ability to shift priorities quickly based on the needs of the business.
• Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); iCIMS experience is a plus.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing and recruiting platforms preferred.
