Position Focus

  • Conduct field surveys at job sites, capturing measurements, conditions, and deviations from approved shop drawings accurately and completely
  • Serve as eyes and ears on site for Project Management and Engineering teams, communicating field conditions clearly and promptly
  • Coordinate with GC Superintendents on site to discuss deviations, clarify conditions, verify hold-to measurements, and relay communications to the Project Manager
  • Join the daily Engineering call to ensure field-related information reaches the Engineering Manager and team promptly
  • Prepare for upcoming surveys in the office โ€” reviewing schedules, curating current shop drawings, meeting with Project Managers and Engineers, and optimizing the survey schedule for efficiency
  • Debrief recently completed field conditions with the relevant Project Manager and Engineering Manager to ensure information is captured and acted on
