Job Description

We're seeking a hands-on dairy technology specialist to provide specialist service and support for our milking systems, automation suite and related farm technology. You'll deliver high-quality advice to dealers and farmers, ensure installations are "fit for purpose," and help drive technical resolutions for satisfied customers.

Supporting the Waikato Region, we are open to candidates based in the Taranaki or Waikato regions as this role can be performed in a Hybrid arrangement

You will:

  • Provide dealers and farmers with expert technical advice and hands-on support for milking systems, automation, and related farm technology.
  • Coordinate and lead the installation, commissioning, and upgrade of dairy technology systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely and on schedule.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across milking, cooling, automation, and associated dairy-farm equipment.
  • Train dealers, technicians, and farm teams; keep technical manuals and service documentation current; and uphold health and safety requirements.
  • Travel throughout New Zealand and internationally as required to support dairy farms, dealer sites, and installation projects.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Relevant experience or qualifications in milking systems, dairy automation, electronics, electrical systems, or mechanical engineering.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with clear communication and the confidence to build effective relationships with dealers, farmers, and technical teams.
  • A full, clean, and current driver’s licence.
