As the Field Technician you will be responsible for soil sampling, which is an integral part of the SWAT process at Croptimistic. This is a temporary position, beginning immediately and continuing through October 30, 2026. The successful candidate will reside in Yorkton, SK, or within a one hour radius.
Responsibilities
- Soil sample fields using SWAT MAPS, following GPS-referenced points
- Champion the brand
Requirements
- Able to work independently
- High-level of integrity and commitment to providing unrivaled service
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending and safely lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and/or experience considered an asset
- Class 5 driver’s license (abstract may be requested)
- Must be willing to work overtime including Saturdays
- Able to travel, including overnight stays
