Job Description

As Finance Manager at Locinox, you will take on a key position within the organization and be end-to-end responsible for the financial closing and reporting of Locinox Belgium, the US, and other entities.

You are not only a coach and sparring partner for the team, but also a hands-on professional who remains actively involved in the financial operations of the organization and ensures that financial processes are efficient, accurate, and future-proof.

Your responsibilities

• You take final responsibility for the monthly and annual closing processes and actively contribute to them yourself.
• You prepare and analyze the monthly management reporting and act as a business partner for management and other departments.
• You coordinate the budgeting process in close collaboration with our COO, analyze financial results (P&L), and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations to support the business.
• You monitor the financial health of the various entities, prepare cash flow planning, and manage treasury activities.
• You are responsible for preparing annual accounts and financial reports and act as the primary point of contact for auditors and external partners.
• You closely monitor tax legislation and prepare the necessary tax returns.
• You play an active role in setting up and improving financial structures and processes, implement efficient reporting tools and workflows, and contribute to the further professionalization of finance within a growing SME environment.

Qualifications

What do you bring?

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Extensive and proven experience in finance management.
• Strong knowledge of taxation and tax regulations.
• An interest in and/or experience with AI applications within finance, combined with the ambition to pragmatically leverage them to optimize processes.
• A hands-on mindset and willingness to remain operationally involved.
• The ability to work highly independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Strong analytical skills, a structured approach, and a solution-oriented mindset.
