Job Description

Financial Management

• Lead a team of Internal and External (outsource) Accountants to provide timely and accurate book-keeping services.
• Review all journal entries prepared by accountants.
• Prepare, monitor & review revenue journal entries and allocation/ overhead journals.
• Ensures accurate and timely month end closing, Balance Sheet review and Profit and Loss review (Full Set of Accounts).
• Coordinates with various stakeholders to prepare monthly forecasts and annual budget.
• Prepare the monthly commission computation for brokers.
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of project financials to the internal stakeholders.
• Cashflow management and liaise with treasury team for any borrowing shortages or surplus repatriation.
• Review Intercompany entries & settlements.
• Prepare and review quarterly accounting and tax pack submission to regional team.

Statutory Reporting (Audit & Taxation)

• Review the Financial Statements, Statutory reports and ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports.
• Corporate tax preparation (ECI reporting, GST reporting, Corporate tax reporting)
• Liaise with external tax advisor for the corporate tax review and submission.
• Liaise with external tax advisor for transfer pricing documentation preparation.

Internal Control & System Integration

• Review and improve accounting and finance processes for better workflow, efficiency, and controls.
• Manage and supervise daily operations and performance of the team to ensures a sound system of internal control for the department.
• Participate in the financial system integration process with global team.
• Maintain good communication with internal and external stakeholder, manage expectations and ensure exceptional service.
• Determine resource requirements and monitor existing and new client engagements.
• Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 8-10 years of relevant experience handling full sets of accounts.
• Degree holder or equivalent professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA).
• Experience in managing new Accounting System Implementation process.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
• Proactive, committed, and able to work under pressure and tight timelines.
• Strong in Excel, fluent in writing and presentation skill and experience with managing client Accounting.
• Meticulous with high degree of initiatives and resourcefulness.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
